The work and activities at Peace Lutheran Church are accomplished through a group of ministry teams, all led by elected committee chairs & chair-elects. We strive for all members of Peace to be involved in one of these ministries if at all possible. Below is a brief description of those teams, each of which is linked to a more detailed page describing the goals and activities of those teams.
To serve the mission of the congregation to make disciples by developing and formalizing mission opportunities both locally and worldwide, reaching others with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The guiding principle of the Education, Youth, and Family (EYF) committee of Peace Lutheran Church is ensuring the spiritual growth of members of all ages. We believe that a strong EYF program will lead to growth at Peace, and it requires broad participation for success. We celebrate faith milestones, learn about the grace and mercy of God through Bible study, and serve through teaching and volunteering within the church, as well as the broader community.
Congregational Life provides emotional, physical and spiritual support to one another by challenging and engaging members to be the body of Christ to others as we celebrate, learn and serve.
To serve the mission of the congregation to make disciples by establishing, directing, scheduling, and coordinating all matters relating to the worship experience of the congregation.
The primary goal of the Communications Committee is to facilitate and coordinate effective communications within the church and with the public.
To serve the mission of the congregation to make disciples by ascertaining and directing necessary support for the maintenance and addition to buildings and grounds and related planning.
