On Sunday, October 7, Pastor Rich blessed 16 ditty bags for the tugboat captains associated with the Christmas At Sea project. The bags were completed by the ladies of the Prayer Shawl Ministry who knitted and crocheted caps and scarfs and created the ditty bags. The ditty bags also included a planner, some snacks and a Christmas card from the women who participated in this ministry. Pictured above are Pat Morse, Carolyn Carr, Amy York, Abby York and Connie Pickens. Not pictured are Sandra Gates, Cailin Gates, Linda Kenyon, Kathryn Lindsay, Kay Vernor, Connie Griffith and Samantha McLeer.
Charlene Ellisor would like to thank everyone who has helped walk her dog, Ruby, over the past year and to those who continue to bring Ruby to visit her. Charlene is settling into a new space at Peach Creek Assisted Living.
To our Church family,
Between the prayers I feel, to the hugs I feel, to those who provided us meals, to those who sent cards, and to those who listened when I needed to talk about my challenges with my recent knee replacement, y’all are amazing and such a blessing! We are so very appreciative of your support. Thank you! The recovery will only get better.
